LYN ASSELTA started painting with pastels in 2004. Her work depicts the landscapes that she loves, from the tidal marshes of Florida, to the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, to the rocky coast of Maine and many places in-between.
Lyn is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and the Pastel Painters of Maine. She is also a member of the San Sebastian River Artists, the Pastel Society of North Carolina, the Southeastern Pastel Society and the St. Augustine Art Association.
She lives in the nation's oldest city, St. Augustine, Florida and spends as much time as possible on the coast of Maine.
